$1.4m sees OfficeMax extend MySchool all year ‘round

With more than $1.4 million distributed to participating New Zealand schools since its launch, OfficeMax is delighted to announce it is extending its MySchool programme, and is now providing rewards to all schools for purchases made by parents all year ‘round.

OfficeMax General Manager (Education), Dr Suzanne Flannagan, said that the company was delighted to have made such a contribution, all while maintaining its lowest price guarantee.

“Schools have really enjoyed the flexibility of MySchool, and have put the rewards to good use.  Parents have really enjoyed the ease of the programme and the assurance of receiving best price in the market,” she said.

“In the past, MySchool has been providing a percentage reward back to schools on orders made with OfficeMax during the back to school period.  Now this programme will extend to purchases made by parents, family and friends all year ‘round whether it be for home office supplies or art and crafts for a rainy day.

“The programme is really going from strength to strength and in April we gave back more than $400,000 to New Zealand’s schools – that is our biggest ever contribution in a single year.

“Now there is even more potential to help schools raise more funds simply by parents and children making their usual purchases,” Dr Flannagan said.

Raising money for your local school is easy and can be done with purchases made online, in store or via freephone.  Simply go to myschool.co.nz or alternatively let your in-store or phone representative know which school you’d like to support at the time of purchase.

The MySchool programme is just one way that OfficeMax contributes back to local schools and communities.  Its A Day Made Better programme recognises New Zealand’s exceptional primary and intermediate school teachers and Max e Grants provides funds for disadvantaged children.
