More than $2,700 worth of pallet wrap product has paid off for the team at NuCo Logistics who recently won a brand new Ecomat Easy pallet wrap machine through a promotion run by OfficeMax and ITW Industrial Packaging.

OfficeMax customers who purchased Galewrap, Enduralock or Eliminator products to the value of $1,500 or more during August and September 2012 were entered into the draw to win the machine, which is valued at $15,000.

The prize couldn’t have gone to a more deserving recipient, with the Auckland-based company having been a loyal OfficeMax customer since 2010.  They recently moved to new premises and had only just started investigating machinery to invest in.

OfficeMax Industrial Packaging Specialist, David Shaw, said that the promotion was well received as it really targeted businesses that would receive great value from the prize.

“The response we had to this promotion was overwhelming and I’d attribute that to the quality and popularity of wrap brands Galewrap, Enduralock, Eliminator and Silent Tough,” said David.

“I’m so pleased to see the prize was awarded to such deserving customers, and as a small team I know they will get great use out of the prize,” he said.

NuCo Logistics Manager, Stuart Hughey, accepted the prize on behalf of the company and joked he was ‘wrapped’ to win the pallet wrap machine.

“It’s great to win a prize by just buying what we needed to buy, from the places we normally shop at – there wasn’t any special effort to win on our behalf,” Stuart said.

“We’re wrapped to win the pallet wrap machine, it’s such a handy piece of machinery and will increase efficiency at work, freeing up more time for the warehouse,” he said.
