Christmas-themed Crafts to do with the Kids

 

Snowman Christmas Tree Decoration

Materials:

Polystyrene Balls
Pipecleaners
Pom Poms
Bells
Joggle Eyes
Glue

Instructions:

  1. Glue polystyrene balls together
  2. Push one end of the pipecleaner into the top polystyrene ball, followed by the other end (forming a loop to hang the decoration)
  3. Decorate with joggle eyes, pom pom buttons, a pipecleaner nose and scarf with bell
  4. Once everything is dry – hang your decoration on your tree!

Handprint Reindeer Card

Materials:

Card/Paper
Paint
Pipecleaners
Pom Poms
Bells
Joggle Eyes
Glue


Instructions:

  1. Hole punch two pieces of card and thread pipecleaner through to hold cards together
  2. Place paint hand prints – one to create the head, and one upside down to create the body
  3. Decorate with joggle eyes, red pom pom and bell for the collar
  4. Decorate the background as desired
  5. Finish with a personal message for your family/friends!

Family Photo Frame

Materials:

Iceblock Sticks
Paint
Pom Poms
Card
Glitter
Glue

Instructions:

  1. Glue iceblock sticks together to create a frame
  2. Paint and decorate your frame with pom poms and glitter
  3. Stick your chosen photo onto a piece of card (if there is excess card around the photo, cut the card to match the size of the frame)
  4. Stick your card, with photo now attached onto the back of the frame
  5. You now have the perfect Christmas gift for your family or a friend!

Classroom Christmas Wreath

Materials:

Card Paper
Paint
Glitter
Glue

Instructions:

  1. Have each child in your class draw around their hand, then cut out their hand print
  2. Each child will then personalise their hand print with their name, glitter and paint
  3. Join each child's hand print creation together to form a Christmas Wreath for the classroom!
